I am a Louisiana native doing what I was born to do: eat and write.
I have worked in the print and online publishing industry for more than 18 years in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and New Orleans and have written about everything from the sex life of bonobo apes to bowfin caviar. I am the author of “The Mere Mortal’s Guide to Fine Dining” (Broadway) and co-author of “Low & Slow: Master the Art of Barbecue in 5 Easy Lessons” (Running Press).
These days, I am living in, loving and writing about food, life and travel in New Orleans … or wherever a story or project takes me.
